SCLEROTHERAPY & ULTRASOUND MAPPING

This course presents and combines all the core skills needed for the healthcare practitioner to become familiar and get the basic fundamentals and principles about the Ultrasound Mapping for Varicose Veins .

In addition, to develop the required skills to initiate or refresh Sclerotherapy for Reticular Veins and Spider Veins according to the state of the art getting the principles to carry on the highest practice standard in the field.

Instruction includes a review of the functional anatomy, material, devices, equipment, medications and techniques for proper, safe and successful injection starting in an educational center and finally in your own setting.

The course is going to have an initial lecture and immediately starting to work in 6 steps-stations, in the Laboratory of the Nicholson Center. Stations about The Ultrasound Machine Knobology, ultrasound mapping, sclero material, medications & preparation and proper techniques of injections.

Even more, you are going to have the chance to hand in real patients.

This course requires self-study. A self-study packet for your review should be downloaded and completed before you attend the course.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Focused on doctors, MD/DO, General Practitioners, Family doctors, Primary care doctors, Generals Surgeons, Radiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists and Allied Health professionals allowed to perform injections who would like to initiate their own Vein Practice or improve their current medical practice.
